Fees and Payments
Fee payment is required on the day of service. Private health and Medicare claims can be processed in our clinic. Self-managed NDIS, self-funded clients, and all gap payments can be made by EFTPOS. Services provided in community settings need to be paid in full electronically and rebate claims made separately. We do not accept cash payments.
Fees are payable at the end of each appointment.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
ValleyKids provide services to plan and self-managed NDIS participants. Please inform your therapist if your child has a NDIS plan. Please refer to www.ndis.gov.au for further information.
Private Health Insurance
Many private health funds cover Occupational Therapy and / or Physiotherapy services. Please contact your individual fund to check your rebate amount. Gap fees apply.
Medicare
ValleyKids can provide services for children referred under a Chronic Disease Management Plan, Mental Health Care Plan or the Helping Children with Autism Program. These plans are arranged by your GP or Paediatrician and entitle your child to a limited number of allied health appointments per calendar year. Gap fees apply. Cancellations and Non Attendance
As we provide one-on-one assessment and therapy services and set aside time for you and your child’s session(s), we require 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to keep your appointment.
If you fail to attend or provide less than 24 hours’ notice, you may be charged the full scheduled fee.

Yes – We provide services in home, educational and community settings, as well as in the clinic. This will be negotiated with you depending on your child’s needs and goals.

We can see children referred with a Chronic Disease Care Plan or a Mental Health Care Plan. Speak to your GP to discuss accessing this support.
